1)      Develop a catchy tag line for your ad. The tag line is the first thing that your potential customers are going to see. So do your best to grab their attention with it and get them to click it to get more information about your products.

2)      Make sure your landing page keeps your customers attention and keeps them thinking. Use colors that are pleasing to the eye and format your page so that they can get the information that they need quickly.

3)      Sell both high priced and low priced items. This was the biggest mistake that I made when I started out. I focused on the high priced items thinking that I only needed to make 2 to 3 sales a day to make a good income. But I was ignoring the slam ticket items that customers where more willing to open their pockets to.

4)      Avoid overspending. It is easy to loss a lot of money quickly when it comes to using Adwords. So make sure you set up a maximum investment amount on your ads when you first start out. It will keep you from overspending and you can tweak your ads and your landing page until you start converting more sales. Once your sales take off, raise the daily investment amount to get more exposure.
